I just wonder if the written word has been Satan’s covenant all along? That’s why he tempted Jesus with scripture. It’s a covenant of knowing good and evil. And as you said God allowed it to control the flesh until the Seed came.
Satan loves the old covenant because it was weak through the flesh and no one could keep it. So he kept it going after the Holy Spirit was poured out when Yeshua started the New Covenant. Satan put people under the bible mixing it with the old and new covenant making it a fleshly covenant and this is how he deceives the world. People look to literature now instead of to the SPIRIT. So you have understanding. We cannot know God by reading about Him, we must know Him by the SPIRIT. You are right that Satan loves the scriptures, he can control people with them. He hates the Holy Spirit, he cannot control the Holy Spirit. Peace and blessings.
Even though I knew the churches had nothing to do with the living God, I used to feel a little condemned about not being a churchgoer because of the Bible. I thank the Lord I found your channel and learned that the Bible should have no authority over my life and looking to it for faith is taking the mark of the beast. I can’t express how happy that made me! :)
